Tom Eckersley dies

Poster designer Tom Eckersley has died aged 82. Eckersley was born in 1914 and always worked freelance. He taught at the London College of Printing and was awarded the Chartered Society of Designers Medal in 1990.

Eckersley was best known for his poster designs for London Transport, Shell-Mex and the General Post Office.
