GNER in talks with two groups
GNER will appoint two consultancies for a £30m train redesign and refit project within the week.
GNER head of design Neal Stone will lead the project. A GNER spokesman says the operator is in talks with two consultancies, but refuses to name them until contracts have been exchanged.
