Brief

These are images taken from a book which has been published to coincide with the exhibition of architect Ruy Ohtake’s new work. The Brazilian’s work is described as closer to moveable architecture than to architectural furniture. This is the first time that Ohtake, better known for his building design, has exhibited furniture. Most of the objects on show in Sao Paulo – all of which are made of steel – are in prototype phase and are yet to be produced commercially. Graphic design for the catalogue is by Ohtake’s brother Ricardo, Ligia Pedra and Monica Pasinato.
