Nip egos in the bud to stop one-upmanship

I was interested to read Callum Lumsden’s letter (DW 8 November). There is more to a company than the founding partners. Company structures evolve, as I’m sure Callum will agree – remember Tilney Pike Shane?

There is more to a company than the founding partners. Company structures evolve, as I’m sure Callum will agree – remember Tilney Pike Shane? Perhaps if the ego rush of having surnames included in company titles were avoided in the first place your letters page wouldn’t be cluttered up by this trivial one-upmanship.
