Mike BENNETT, former managing director of Sunbather and ex-Razorfish creative director, is setting up a “digital studio” in the UK.
The business is intended to break the mould of the digital media consultancy, and will be entertainment-based. Bennett says he will be recruiting a small creative team and plans to go into partnership “in the near future”.
Bennett’s vision is to develop “content for cross-media projects” which transcend Web, WAP and interactive TV. The aim is to create the next brand of TV and digital entertainment using his knowledge of convergent media. “The office will be set up a bit like a film studio,” he says.
Bennett joined Razorfish in October 1998, following the group’s acquisition of Web design consultancy Sunbather.
