Brand and communications specialist Rufus Leonard has created the name, corporate identity and website for a new marine insurance company called Dex, which was launched on Monday.
The UK-based group has been formed by a syndicate of leading players in the insurance and underwriting sector. Companies involved include Thomas Miller, Swiss Re and Chartwell Re.
Dex will operate internationally with its main focus applied to the Asian market.
Dex chief operating officer Mark Carter says: “The market is facing new challenges and traditional ways of doing business are being reviewed. Forming a new alliance will position us to maximise opportunities in an evolving market place.”
Rufus Leonard account director Cate Burren adds: “We’ve created a new brand which is simple, energetic and will break the mould in marine insurance.”
