Gormley goes back to basics

Bernard Gormley is throwing in his lot with two former directors of Lloyd Ferguson Hawkins to set up a branding consultancy called Nude Brand Creation.

Alistair Ferguson, who left LFH last June is joining Nude, plus LFH co-director Tony Enoch. Mike Parsonson is also leaving Ziggurat, where Gormley was a co-founder, to join Nude.

Badge Consultants, the consultancy set up by Gormley in January 2003 after he left Ziggurat, will be absorbed into the new group. Nude will comprise seven or eight people, he says.

Nude will focus on packaging and new product development. ‘But we will also do our own work,’ says Gormley, citing designs for whisky brand Bro (pictured) that Nude has done unbidden by a client.
