BBC combines current affairs

Lambie-Nairn has created the identity for the BBC’s new regional current affairs format, which will be launched early next month.

The group created the name Inside Out as well as the onand off-air identity, which is based around a radar icon. The new format consolidates the BBC’s 11 regional current affairs programmes, which will now be moved to BBC1 from BBC2.

The brief was to create a contemporary look for the series that will carry the audience from BBC1’s news hour into the general early evening programming, according to Lambie-Nairn creative director Charlotte Castle.
