DTE Energy takes hold of market share

DTE Energy Co has become the holding company for Detroit Edison, separating the regulated utility business from its non-utility subsidiaries. Identity design is by Anspach Grossman Portugal in New York.

“Our business always will have two major aspects – people and energy,” says chairman and chief executive John Lobbia. Both are reflected in the logo’s sunburst and figure. The identity was unveiled last month.
