Former head of design management at British Airways, Mike Crump (pictured), is to launch a branding and design management consultancy.

The group, called Honour, is currently securing contracts with clients in the aviation and hospitality and service industries and has set up a team of freelances. The consultancy will split into two divisions, Honour Branding and Honour Aviation, according to its clients. ‘We will act as consultants and design managers to industry, working on brand positioning. We have aviation clients, but don’t want to become locked into the airline sector. There are many other contacts who we are now talking to,’ says Crump.

Crump was made redundant this summer, after 15 years with BA (DW 9 March).
