Frost creates logo for Arts Foundation

Frost Design has redesigned the identity of the Arts Foundation, the independent trust set up in 1990 to help fund changing categories of artists.

The design consultancy is also redesigning the foundation’s stationery, brochure and invitation to the awards ceremony, to be held in London in late November.

Frost Design’s logo for the group intends to underline typographically the Arts Foundation’s economical commitment to the arts with the use of an ambiguous F character which also represents a pound sign.

The foundation awards a number of fellowships in specific art forms every year. This year’s categories will be painting, chamber music, typography and photography. An additional award will go to producers that help artists produce new work. The successful applicant of each category will receive £10 000, says Arts Foundation chair Diana Donovan.
