London consultancy Rose Design Associates has created the identity for the CulturalTies art project, backed by design and retail entrepreneur Gavin Aldred. The project has seen 75 artists commissioned to design a tie, with a limited edition of 300 examples to be made of each. The ties will be sold around the world in galleries or via the Internet at www.culturalties.com, while the original designs will be sold in a charity auction to benefit the United Nations Clean Water Development Programme.
