LGN broadens its IdeaScope

Lighthouse Global Network has added a strategic innovation specialist to its growing empire, with the acquisition of American group IdeaScope Associates.

Based in Boston and San Francisco, IdeaScope helps clients to “envision the future, discover growth opportunities, enable innovation and become more strategically agile”.

It also aims to link strategy and innovation to align senior management teams around a single vision, to maximise the growth opportunities of their industries.

IdeaScope co-founder and partner Bob Johnston says the new deal provides “the opportunity to extend our reach, not only geographically, but also to collaborate with the network partner. We’ve seen the benefits of partnering informally with [UK design group] Fitch and believe a formal relationship with LGN will create new opportunities for IdeaScope, our clients and other Lighthouse companies.”

LGN chief executive officer Martin Beck adds: “The unique strength of our international network of companies is the opportunity for a group of best-in-class companies to contribute their particular strengths to our clients’ businesses.

“IdeaScope offers Lighthouse groups and their clients a proven track record in leveraging the firm’s strategic innovation process to deliver accelerated and strategic business growth.”

The latest acquisition is the sixth for LGN since November, including Morgan-Walker Associates, Avid Group and London corporate literature consultancy Corporate and Financial Design during the past six weeks alone.
