Screen graphics company Lambie-Nairn and its sister company Tutssels have joined forces to create The Brand Union.

The new limited company will offer services including television branding, corporate identity, brand packaging design, mnemonics and new media to worldwide brand owners.

The Brand Union will have 60 staff and a turnover of 7.9m. Helen Owen, who has been Tutssels managing director for the last two years, is acting managing director. “The restructure gives us flexibility for the future,” says Owen, “There are no acquisition plans in the short-term, or plans for overseas offices.”

Martin Lambie-Nairn and Glenn Tutssel remain as creative directors of the renamed Lambie-Nairn @ The Brand Union and Tutssels @ The Brand Union respectively.

Zenith Media UK chairman Tim Wootton is being brought in as The Brand Union non-executive chairman.

Glenn Tutssel linked up with Lambie-Nairn & Company to form corporate and brand design consultancy Tutssel St John Lambie-Nairn five years ago (DW 4 December 1992).
