More than 200 British Airways staff will be rehoused at new offices being designed by Norwegian architect Niels Torp.

Tilney Lumsden Shane chief executive Kathy Tilney was appointed to lead the briefing team, collect and collate data and devise a strategy for the Combined Business Centre.

Tilney is now design manager, with the role of fusing the aspirational vision with the operational requirements. She is liaising with Niels Torp on the project – the Oslo group’s first job for BA.

The building near Heathrow Airport has been “conceived to give BA advantage in performance, enhancing an already dynamic corporate culture with accessibility, flexibility and individual ’empowerment'”, says a TLS spokeswoman.
