Tim Watson has resigned as London managing director of The Attik after six years with the consultancy. Although Watson, who leaves at the end of the month, has no job lined up, he describes the split as “amicable”. “Six years is a long time in our business,” he says. “I’d like to apply what I’ve learned somewhere else. I’ve got the proverbial irons in the fire.”

The Attik partner Simon Needham says he is hoping to replace Watson as soon as possible, but he has not yet drawn up a shortlist of candidates.
