Gary Hume; The Ministry of Taste; Reinventing the wheel

New work by Gary Hume is on show until 17 October. The exhibition coincides with the Edinburgh Festival, which runs until 4 September.

Cornerhouse will be investigating the pervasive, but elusive concept of taste, beginning with an exhibition of archived images from the Design Council. The Ministry of Taste, from 21 August until 10 October, comprises a unique record of post-war furniture, ceramics, textiles, street furniture and packaging.

Reinventing the wheel aims to trace the past, present and future stylistic developments of the car, its relationship with design, architecture and society as a whole. The exhibition takes place from 21-24 August.
