The name is Past, but the gifts are flourishing

I write in response to Gaynor Williams’ Private View (DW 13 January). I would like to point out that the shop you refer to in Regent Street is, in fact, called Past Times, not Old Times as you incorrectly say.

Ms Williams is right when she comments on the popularity of our gifts and accessories inspired by the past. Past Times is one of the retail success stories of the 1990s, with 48 shops in Great Britain and Ireland and a flourishing worldwide mail order business. We pride ourselves on the outstanding quality and design of our goods.
