Grange goes to Globe Theatre

Kenneth Grange, a founding partner of Pentagram, is to join the board of directors of the Shakespeare Globe Centre in London’s Southwark. He will be responsible for design at the theatre and exhibition centre, and also for marketing and fund-raising.

The Globe and Pentagram have had a 25 year relationship. Theo Crosby, also a Pentagram founding partner, was involved in the project until his death in 1994.

Grange says his appointment is to “ensure that the design qualities which we previously tried to put into The Globe are sustained in other aspects”. This includes the design by Robin Wade Associates for the Globe Exhibition.
