Business Link league planned

Small firms minister Barbara Roche was yesterday due to launch a scheme to collect figures from Business Links to form a league table. The impact of Business Links on companies in terms of turnover, employment, profits, exports and assets, will be compared with firms which have not used the Links.

The effectiveness of the Links’ design advisors will be incorporated into the bulk of the scheme, according to a Business Links spokesman.

Devon & Cornwall Training and Enterprise Council, and subsidiary Business Link Devon and Cornwall are to operate under the name Prosper from 1 April.
