Enterprise buys The Identity Business

Enterprise IG is expanding closer to home with the acquisition of its 21st office, located in Ireland, following procurements and start-ups in the Far East and Europe.

The group has bought The Identity Business, which is based in Dublin and employs 28 staff. It was founded by principals Jim Dunne and Peter Kruseman ten years ago.

Its directors and managers will remain in place, and Enterprise IG and The Brand Union chairman Sam Sampson, and Enterprise IG joint chief executive and chief executive of The Brand Union Dave Allen, join The Identity Business board.

‘Becoming a member of Enterprise IG means Ireland-based businesses have a local partner with international expertise and reach,’ says Dunne. ‘We will be able to work on international brands within multicultural teams in a global setting,’ he adds.

The Identity Business will change its name to Enterprise IG ‘in the near future’, according to an Enterprise IG spokeswoman. It has worked with clients including An Post and Eircell-Vodafone.

Enterprise IG opened its first offices in Bangkok and Denmark earlier this year and launched a start-up in Tokyo in February.
