France Telecom dials Landor
Landor Associates is to enlarge the corporate identity department of its Paris office to mirror its European headquarters in London. The move coincides with news of a successful pitch for France Telecom’s corporate identity project (DW 26 June).
The big budget France Telecom project will last for several years, says a spokeswoman for the telecommunications giant. It will involve rebranding a portfolio of companies around the world to build synergy across the group.
Landor’s French office will continue to be based around three departments – corporate identity, brand environment and brand packaging – as is London.
Executive director Andrew Welch will head the corporate identity department of the Paris office.
Meanwhile, Ford Enterprise unveiled a Landor-designed business-to-business centre in Paris last week. The Ford Forum will cater to fleet-buying corporate customers, and concentrate on Ford’s customer service values. Clients don’t actually encounter a car until the final stage of their journey through the centre.
