Roundel has created the brand identity for Associated Bulk Carriers, a new company formed by the merger of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O Bulk Shipping) and Shougang Group (Hong Kong).
The ABC identity will launch next week. It will be applied to 26 ships operating in the Atlantic and Pacific regions, servicing clients in the iron ore, coal, steel and utilities sectors.
ABC will form one of the biggest and most modern fleets in the shipping industry.
The identity aims to move away from traditional shipping symbols and logotypes, and will be applied to flags, ship funnels, literature, uniforms and stationery.
