Award for Enterprise for HP:ICM

HP:ICM, the lead designer of the Millennium Dome’s Body Zone, has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise after a series of successful projects around Europe.

The award, which is administered by the Department of Trade and Industry, is presented for “outstanding achievement in international trade, resulting in substantial growth in overseas earnings and in commercial success, sustained over not less than three years”.

Since 1997, the London design consultancy has increased its turnover by 180 per cent and has seen overseas earnings more than double. Several new client wins on the Continent, plus a new product launch for General Motors Europe, have contributed to the group’s success.

HP:ICM sales and marketing director David Tarsh says: “We are really proud to receive this award and it is a tribute to the quality of our team. It is their outstanding work, award-winning ideas and dedicated service that persuades our long-standing clients to keep coming back for more and enables our new-business team to win exciting new projects.”

Managing director Julian Pullan adds: “The award will also be a great boost to our industry, as it will help raise the profile of live communications and demonstrate its growing role in the marketing communications mix.”
