Branding specialist CLK has developed a new logo for Irish beef, to act as the Irish Food Board’s seal of authenticity. The logo is being used specifically in the UK market.
The food board, Bord Bia, aims to communicate values associated with Irish meat and comply with country of origin labelling requirements. The marque will appear on all supermarket own-brand meat coming from Ireland.
CLK senior designer Andy Bain says: “We developed an identity that would evoke both the traditional and natural values associated with Irish beef rearing.”
Bord Bia manager Michael Murphy adds: “We are confident CLK’s design is both visually appealing and unique. It allows for consumers to readily identify that the beef is of Irish origin.”
