Design work for Airbus goes on

Consultancies working on the development of Airbus’ superjumbo A380 ‘should’ remain unaffected despite the threat of mass redundancies at Airbus UK.

Airbus UK has said it might have to make as many as 2000 job cuts to ‘reduce costs’.

Airbus refuses to name the consultancies concerned.
