MCI, the second largest long-distance telephone company in the US, was this week due to unveil a new identity designed by Interbrand Schechter’s New York office. The organisation was keeping details under wraps.
MarinaTex, an organic and biodegradable alternative to traditional plastic, was developed by University of Sussex student Lucy Hughes.
The visual identity combines the club’s “illustrious heritage” and “future glory” with an eye to digital platforms and more casual fans.
The week-long festival will also host speakers including interaction design expert Daljit Singh and representatives from Heatherwick Studio.
