Festive snowfalls have come early to the Norwegian beer market, with Oslo-based Tank Design’s minimal styling of White Xmas, positioned as a party drink by brewer Macks Olbryggeri. ‘It’s traditional in Norway for all the brewers to bring out Christmas beers,’ says Tank partner Bjorn Ottem, ‘but usually they’re filled with Santas and typical kitschy Christmas artefacts.’ Macks Olbryggeri owns the northern-most brewery in the world.
