Enterprise IG leaves senior role unfilled

Enterprise IG is not intending to replace former managing director Charles Trevail, opting instead for a “shared leadership” system.

Enterprise IG, Europe, chief executive Dave Allen says: “We’ve been working with this concept to get us through the short term and it’s working very well.”

Key roles are Patrick Smith as Enterprise IG director for business development, John Mathers as client services director, Franco Bonadio as managing creative director running creative services, and Sharon Fox as finance director. Allen says, “The key thing is that people understand who they should go to for what.”

Allen says fee-income is up 40 per cent a month since the system was put in place in June when Trevail resigned. He refutes reports that the group is following WPP stablemate Addison to appoint two managing directors. Quentin Anderson and Matthew King were promoted to joint managing director after Simon Lake resigned as managing partner.
