Merging law firms search for identity

Merging international law companies Denton Hall and Wilde Sapte are set to appoint a consultancy to create a corporate identity for the combined group.

The merger will give birth to Denton Wilde Sapte and is intended to be completed by February 2000.

With almost 800 legal staff around the world, the new business is set to be one of the top ten fee-earning law firms in the UK.

A spokesman for Denton Hall says of the new identity: “The new name will be launched on 1 February next year. It is still early days, but I am sure the corporate identity will be changed.” He was unable to confirm whether specific design groups are to be approached for the work.
