NMEC denies yellow Dome

Newspaper reports that the Millennium Dome is to be painted yellow have been denied by Dome operator the New Millennium Experience Company. The Teflon exterior fabric would be weakened by any such plans, which would also substantially reduce the resale value of the material, says an NMEC spokeswoman. ‘There is absolutely no truth in the stories. It is pure speculation,’ she says.
