London Aquarium looks as if it sleeps with the fishes
In response to the question ‘What other national attractions could do with a makeover?’ (see Vox Pop on the right), I think the London Aquarium is showing its age.
In response to the question ‘What other national attractions could do with a makeover?’ (see Vox Pop on the right), I think the London Aquarium is showing its age.
It needs a makeover by a graphic designer who can explain the diversity of the displays; faded back-lit panels and water-damaged labels look shabby. The unprepossessing basement of the old Greater London Council headquarters isn’t helped by dim light and grim paint work, so an interior designer could also help out.
The aquarium feels like a bit of a con for the entrance fee.
