Design Net adds colour to streets of London

Watch out, because Design Net is threatening to ‘play pranks, stunts and generally surprise people’ with the use of a new London taxi. It goes on the road at the end of next month and will be adorned in the group’s yellow livery.

The digital media specialist Design Net is buying the taxi in an effort to promote itself more. Like the consultancy itself, which recently moved from Fulham to Mayfair, the cab will be based in central London.

‘We want people to get to know us and the way we work. It’s no good just using bland advertising tools. We need to stretch the boundaries and enjoy ourselves at the same time,’ explains a Design Net spokeswoman. ‘We’ll hire it out for special occasions and have some real fun with it, so watch out for the yellow cab.’
