Not so united over the new Euro 45 striped flag

I was intrigued to discover Rem Koolhaas had been busy recently redesigning the European Union flag (see above).

Unfortunately, the results have been mixed. The new 45-stripe design appears difficult to recreate in a variety of print formats and I’m disappointed a project of this nature was not open to designers across Europe rather than to a single architect.
