RioFin uses Contacts to procure an identity

Cambridge financial software company RioFin is launching a new identity, designed by London group Contacts Communications.

RioFin provides software solutions for merchant banking groups, and appointed Contacts after the consultancy’s branding work for its equity trading partner Infinity last year.

The identity is designed in monochrome to stand out in a “frenetic market obsessed with colour”, says Contacts Communications client services director David Parker.

“The logo needed to be simple and understated, representative of the serious nature of the product. We felt that the geometric shape of the logo would have a classic appeal,” says Parker.

The group is now designing its website and literature, and a three-dimensional version of the triangular symbol may also be adapted for environmental use.
