More New Designers awards

Sarah Deutsch from De Montfort University has won the British Telecom Design Management Award for the second year running, at the New Designers Part Two awards scheme.

Christina Archer of Central St Martins scooped two awards, while a ceramics award went to Jodi Flannery of Staffordshire University. Thalia-Maria Georgoulis of the Royal College of Art won the non-ceramics award.

Furniture awards went to Max Shepherd of Leeds Metropolitan University and Sarah Hodgson of Manchester Metropolitan University. Buckinghamshire College picked up the group furniture award.

Philip Coote of Brunel University, Matthew McCombe of De Montfort University and Anthony Dickens of Buckinghamshire College of Art received product design awards.

Other winners were Christopher Perry of Sheffield Hallam University, Lin Cheung of the Royal College of Art and Clare Hillerby from Edinburgh College of Art and Design.
