Who should be in the Hot 50?

The call for nominations for Design Week’s second Hot 50 design champions has gone out, with a plan to publish the special supplement in the autumn.

Readers are invited to submit names of people who have made a significant contribution to UK design over the past 12 months. They can be designers, academics, business leaders and entrepreneurs, local or national politicians, clients or members of organisations such as the British Council or Institute of Directors.

A panel of industry dignitaries led by Design Week editor Lynda Relph-Knight will select the final 50 from the contenders put forward.
