Image plans at British Library

Design appointments are likely as the British Library seeks to revamp its brand identity following the appointment of its first director of strategic marketing and communications, Jill Finney.

Finney, who joins in July, has a remit that includes the “development of plans for external image”.

“Finney will look at the main brand and the sub-brands and at ways of strengthening them,” confirms a spokesman.

There will be no design appointments until Finney starts work.
