Finance group relaunched by Wolff Olins

Global financial services institution CS Holdings has relaunched as Credit Suisse Group in a bid to reposition itself in a shifting and overcrowded marketplace. New identities for the holding group and its four subsidiaries were created by Wolff Olins.

The consultancy’s objective was to design an international brand which will work around the world within all sectors of financial services, says a Wolff Olins spokeswoman.

The marque has to unify the holding group’s sub-brands – international corporate and investment banking arms Credit Suisse First Boston, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Credit Suisse Private Banking and its domestic business Credit Suisse – within a single master brand.

Credit Suisse Group has total assets of 230bn, and operates the second biggest bank in Switzerland.

The new identity, which launches in January, will be applied across all stationery and signage.
