AKA’s heart beats for institute

AKA Design has created the corporate identity for Guidant Europe Cardiovascular Institute in Belgium, the state-of-the-art educational centre for implant surgery, which opens next week.

The consultancy started work last March and has been responsible for all physical design as well as identity and literature. The logo features three orbits encircling a heart and, according to AKA, is modern, clean, has clinical colours and fluid and energetic shapes.

GECI will house 2000 physicians and offer training on cardiovascular implant technology.
