British Council to use Brazil trip as blueprint

Marketing communications group Abet CMC is writing a report on the British Council’s trade mission to Brazil, carried out earlier this month, to be used as a blueprint for future missions.

The group carried out initial research into the Brazilian market for the council as the first part of a model the council is setting up for exporting design services.

Abets CMC creative director Joe Tibbetts will now develop the blueprint by writing a post-mission report, based on lessons learned from the trip and export issues it has raised. This should be completed by the end of the year.

The British Council will then look at ways to further develop the opportunities it has pinpointed in Brazil. Further down the line it will set up missions to other countries.
