Knoll launches office system

Furniture manufacturer Knoll International launches its Life Chair and A3 office system in the UK on 3 October. The Life Chair is created by New Zealand-based Formway Design using environmentally friendly principles. The chair is available in fabric or leather with translucent casters and has ergonomic support and intuitive controls. The A3 office system, designed by New York design consultancy Asymptote, is entirely curvilinear. According to a spokeswoman, the consultancy took its cues from sports equipment and aeroplane interiors and

used semi-transparent screens to balance openness, light and privacy. The A3 office system is designed to be structurally independent and can be organised in rows, clusters or other shapes.
