The Partners is to make a push into the new media market, and has kickstarted the process with the appointment of an additional partner who will focus exclusively on the sector.
John Guy, formerly technical director at AMX Studios, has joined The Partners as new media partner.
Managing partner Aziz Cami says Guy will have a wide remit, seeking out new clients as well as servicing existing ones. The group already carries out new media work for a number of clients, such as Wedgwood and Barclays savings brand b2, says Cami.
“The primary drive will be to act as a bridge internally to help us bring new media into all our existing business,” says Guy.
The new media department will initially have around six staff at its disposal, but Guy says there are plans for it to grow considerably over time. “We will be looking for new media opportunities that are brand new,” he says.
The Partners currently has a total of 70 staff, which includes seven partners.
