Italian design consultancy Pininfarina, best known for styling Ferrari’s road cars, has designed a watch for Casio’s G-Shock brand. The G-Cool Type 1 is being billed as ‘the ultimate watch for the design enthusiast’. It will be available from December, priced at around £120. The watch features a stainless steel finish and the strap has a cable skeleton, inspired by automotive brake cables, to give it a tough and durable appearance. It is waterproof to a depth of 200m and has five different alarm settings. A world time facility tells the time in 27 cities.
