Dancing queens sing vodka’s praises

London’s Commonwealth Institute was swarming with Swedes the other night for the launch of Svensk vodka, which was branded by Curious.

The event was fairly tame – taller than average men in suits taking tiny sips of Svensk and picking at soused fish – until the entertainment arrived. Then they really let their collective hair down.

First up was Fabba, a female tribute duo wearing nothing but small pieces of shiny material and karaoke-ing to a protracted Abba medley.

This was followed by a dubious drag act. The performance was curtailed when somebody charitably switched off the stage lights.

Still, the party continued, and nobody seemed put out that everyone mispronounced the product’s name.
