Council joins in RSA Forum

The Design Council will get involved in the Royal Society for the Arts’ Forum planned to develop new ways investors can judge the future success of businesses, says chief executive Andrew Summers.

The forum is a result of the RSA’s inquiry, Tomorrow’s Company: The Role of Business in a Changing World, and will include chief executives and investors (DW 9 July).

‘We would expect to be an associate member. The commitment is there,’ Summers says. The Council’s current research will be one of its main aspects of contribution, he adds.

‘Design is a very good example of some of the headings that self-respecting investors should be asking businesses questions about,’ says Mark Groyder, programme director of Tomorrow’s Company.
