‘The grooviest clients you could hope for’ is how Ben Kelly describes independent film production company Produktion. The consultancy has designed interiors for the company’s new offices in the West End. ‘Brian Griffin, who heads Produktion, told us what the company wanted in terms of space and the number of enclosed offices it needed – beyond that we had a free hand,’ says Kelly. Four enclosed offices and distinctive reception, waiting and despatch areas were specified in the brief, with the rest of the 260m2 space remaining open-plan. ‘We’ve developed a streetscape with the enclosed offices as buildings on one side of the street and a pavement with the open-plan working space on the other side,’ says Kelly. The consultancy is also responsible for the design of storage systems for the office.
