Knickerbox appoints 20/20

Retailer Knickerbox has confirmed the appointment of 20/20 Design and Strategy Consultants to rebrand its interiors and store facias to create a more up-to-date and cohesive image. The group will first complete a strategic review and brand audit of the business.

The retail specialist is thought to have been appointed after a credentials and proposals pitch, with other shortlisted candidates including Metropolis 88 and Fitch. The client is planning to implement the 20/20 design in its 45 UK stores, and in franchised outlets across Europe and the Pacific Rim.

20/20 managing director Rune Gustafson says the group aims to develop a cohesive image for the retailer. Mike Nicholson, managing director of Knickerbox, says the redesign will help the chain “build on its potential in the marketplace”.
