Don’t look backwards

Patrick Argent asks “What has happened to true substance, ideas and integrity in design?” (Letters, DW 23 October).

The answer is simple, design has moved on, thankfully as it always will.

Blinkered nostalgia exasperates me! There’s a lot of great graphic design out there, it’s just a matter of looking forward instead of backwards.
