Design House has created the identity for the new human resources e-business launched by BT and Andersen Consulting.

The 50:50 joint venture between the two giant corporations had to be cleared by the European Commission under its Mergers Regulation.

According to the EC ruling, the company, called E-peopleserve (www.e-peopleserve.com), represents a new entrant in the HR services market and therefore does not create or strengthen a dominant position. Design House has developed the identity, printed material and consumer website for the venture.

The identity is a rich red, with a lowercase logo. The brochure features four pairs of aerial photographs, each comprising a shot of earth from space, with a close up demonstrating man’s interaction with the natural environment.

E-peopleserve will provide a range of HR services, including recruitment, training, administration and pensions services. It will serve corporate customers worldwide and claims to be one of the first HR operators covering the entire employment lifecycle. Around 1100 employees are transferring from BT to form the staff of the new company.

Lavinia Culverhouse, Design House managing director, declines to comment on the project.
